Luke Skywalker wannabes rejoice, because Star Wars: Trench Run will soon be available for your iPhone or iPod Touch. The game will put you in the cockpit of the x-wing fighter in the last moments of Episode IV and you will be given the opportunity to destroy the Death Star, all from the comfort of your couch.
The rumored price will be $4.99 and based on the demo video it will be well worth it. Now if only Darth Vader would be on board when I obliterate it.

Well here is a surprising move, Volkswagen America Inc. (VW) has launched it’s latest car, the GTI 2010, on Apple’s App Store by giving away a free game from Firemint called Real Racing GTI. To add to the excitement players are also given the chance to win one of six free GTI 2010s being given away.
The Real Racing GTI App is available for download free from the App Store on the iPhone and iPod touch or at www.itunes.com/appstore/. No purchase is necessary to enter the contest, but it officially ends on December 2 at 11:59PM.
Ever wonder how stressful being an Air Traffic Controller would be? Well wonder no more because the folks at Firemint have created one of the most addicting games ever called Flight Control. Game play is simple, just select your airport and direct your planes, jets and helicopters to their respective runways.
The game play is smooth and the graphics are very clean. They aren’t stunning, but that’s the idea. I would guess that they kept it simple on purpose so background clutter wouldn’t take away from the game play.
I should mention that this game is very addicting and you will quickly find yourself spending every free moment absorbed in airspace management.
As an added bonus the game allows two people on separate iPhones to connect via Bluetooth or over a local wifi connection and play cooperatively to land aircraft.
If you only have .99 to spend on a game this year, it should be Flight Control by Firemint.
Our final conclusion: One of the best game for the iPhone ever! Highly recommended by the entire iPhone World staff.
